Tool Bar Buttons

arrow cursor used for selection and location

Pan - move the map to your area of interest

Save Options
Navigation - zoom in, zoom out; how to scroll. Play tutorial movie (requires Flash)
Profile - create a relief profile across your grid. Play tutorial movie (requires Flash)
Digitizer - select and save points from the map view. Play tutorial movie (requires Flash)
Layers - import shapefiles and .grd files; view Alvin photos, bathymetry, magnetics, age and sediment thickness grids; view data for Ridge 2000 and MARGINS study sites; much more

show/hide grid lines (GeoMapApp South only)
Focus - sharpen image (usually done automatically)
Mask function - highlight areas with high resolution topography (~100 m node spacing). Play movie
Grid Tool - loads default grid, opens grid options window for new grid, coloring, 3D, more. Play movie
