Help: Multi-Channel Reflection Profiles
Exploring Multi-Channel Reflection Profiles
This is a dedicated interface for viewing Multi-Channel Seismic (MCS) reflection data. The interface consists of the Main Map Window with menu options to the right of the map for selecting a cruise and seismic lines of interest. Below the map view are two windows for viewing seismic profiles. You may choose to view lines one above another (Vertical) or adjacent to each other (Horizontal).

Use the Line dropdown menu to select a Seismic Line of interest. Press the view-1 button to load this profile in the top (or left) seismic view window. You can select a second profile and press view-2 to load it into the second seismic view window for comparison.

Use the tool buttons located within each seismic view window to squeeze or stretch the view; invert the grey scale; flip the orientation of the profile; to save the image, segy file, or profile navigation; or to zoom in or zoom out.
