Web Feature Services - WFS
What is this?
WFS allows the user to display and manipulate remote data tables and spreadsheets in GeoMapApp. (Read more.)
How do you use it?
From the File menu, select WFS.

The Connect to WFS window opens. Click on the menu dropdown pointer. Select a server; press Connect.

The window expands. Select a Feature and an appropriate Bounding Box. Choose among Ridge 2000 or MARGINS focus sites, grid areas shown in the map, and the Arctic or Southern oceans.

Layer Information for the data set, if available, will be shown in the lowest box.
The Imported Data Tables window will open. If it is empty, no data has been found in your region. Change your search parameters. Otherwise, click Ok.

A Config window will open, allowing you to set the display size, colors and other options. Read more...
Click Ok to display the data locations in GeoMapApp's main map window.

Data from the table can be graphed, the symbols scaled by any data column and the table view manipulated. See Import Data Tables for a detailed description.
Click Dispose to remove the data from the view.
